Meet the founder
Thomas Martinage is the founder of Fixtek — a nationwide white-label technology services brand launched in 2009 — and of Abundant Computer Service, LLC, the Jacksonville, Florida computer repair and IT company he started in 2006.
Born in Paris, France, and raised in San Diego, Thomas took an unconventional road into technology. After time in France and New Orleans in the early 2000s, he settled in Jacksonville and built Abundant Computer Service from the ground up: one technician, one truck, and a simple philosophy — help people first, and the business follows. Twenty years later, the company holds nearly 100 five-star Google reviews and serves hundreds of residential and commercial clients across Northeast Florida.
Fixtek takes that same help-first approach nationwide. Thomas remains the client-facing relationship everywhere. Vetted local partners perform bench work in each market; field technicians handle onsite jobs through a managed dispatch network. Every arrangement requires customer consent and a profitable, documented spread. And the partners are mission recipients too: Thomas helps each partner shop automate its own business with AI receptionists, booking, and follow-ups.
Through all of it runs one mission, in his own words: “Our mission: using AI and technology to help everyone, personally and professionally — including automating your business.”
Those who know Thomas will tell you the mission didn’t start with a business plan. He has served on mission trips to Haiti, served as a church deacon, and fed people experiencing homelessness — quietly, without fanfare. The companies are just the latest way he takes care of people.
